Analytics
Optional message analytics with per-user privacy toggle
Message analytics provide insight into message volume, response times, and conversation patterns across your workspace. Analytics are entirely optional and are controlled by a per-user toggle.
What analytics track
When analytics are enabled for a user, the platform collects:
| Data point | Description |
|---|---|
| Message volume | Count of sent and received messages per account per day |
| Response time | Time between receiving a message and sending a reply |
| Conversation length | Number of messages in a conversation thread |
| Peak hours | Hours of day with highest message activity |
| Account activity | Connection uptime, health score history, and task execution counts |
| Bot usage | Bot command volume and flow trigger counts |
Privacy toggle
Each operator controls whether their messages are included in analytics. The toggle is at Settings > Privacy > Message analytics.
| Toggle state | Data collected | Data visible in dashboard |
|---|---|---|
| On (default) | All message-level data points listed above | Full workspace analytics including your data |
| Off | Workspace-level aggregates only (total accounts, total messages per account, total tasks executed) | Dashboard shows aggregate data without your message-level contribution |
When you toggle analytics off:
- Existing analytics data for your messages is retained for 7 days and then anonymized.
- New messages from your accounts are not analyzed beyond basic count (included in workspace-level totals).
- The aggregate dashboard still shows total message counts and account-level summaries, but per-user breakdowns for your accounts are hidden.
AI features
The platform has an AI features deployment that is gated behind a global kill switch:
| Kill switch position | AI features status |
|---|---|
| ON | AI-powered features are available (smart reply suggestions, sentiment analysis on incoming messages, automated message categorization) |
| OFF | All AI features are disabled. Only basic counting analytics operate. |
The kill switch is controlled by platform operations and cannot be toggled per workspace. When AI features are active, data processing for AI models follows the same privacy toggle rules. If a user has analytics disabled, their messages are excluded from AI training and inference pipelines.
Data retention for analytics
| Data type | Retention |
|---|---|
| Message-level analytics | 90 days |
| Account-level aggregates | 365 days |
| Workspace-level aggregates | Indefinite (no personally identifying information) |
Dashboard
The analytics dashboard is available at Analytics in the main navigation. It includes:
- Volume over time: line chart of daily message volume
- Account heatmap: per-account activity broken down by hour of day
- Response time distribution: histogram of response times
- Top conversations: most active chats by message count
- Bot analytics (if applicable). Bot command usage and flow trigger counts
