FAQ
Frequently asked questions about Telegram OS
Accounts
How many accounts can I run? Up to 2 on Plan 1, 15 on Plan 2, and 100 on Plan 3. You can also upload up to 50 owned accounts per workspace regardless of plan.
Can I use the same phone number for multiple accounts? No. Each Telegram account requires a unique phone number.
What happens if my rented account gets banned? On covered plans, the platform auto-replaces banned accounts within 24 hours. On the Free plan or if you have exceeded your plan's account limit, bans are not replaced.
Can I recover a deleted account? No. Deletion is irreversible for both rented and owned accounts.
Proxies
Can I use a VPN instead of a proxy? The platform requires a proxy endpoint (HTTP or SOCKS5). A VPN configured on the server does not count. The platform needs explicit proxy credentials per account.
How do I check if my proxy is working? The platform runs a connectivity test and IP-leak check before assigning a proxy. You can also view the proxy status on the account detail page.
Can I share a proxy across workspaces? No. Proxies are scoped to a single workspace.
Automation
Can I schedule messages to send at a specific time? Yes. Tasks support scheduled execution with a specific timestamp.
What happens if my account hits a flood-wait? The account enters cooldown for the flood-wait duration plus a 10% safety margin. Pending messages are queued and sent after cooldown.
How do I pause automation for an account? Set the account status to paused from the Accounts page. All automation for that account is suspended until you set it back.
Bots
Can I host a bot without the platform? Yes, but the platform handles hosting, rate-limit compliance, and webhook delivery for you. You can also use your own infrastructure and point the webhook there.
How many bots can I have? Up to 10 on Plan 1, 50 on Plan 2, and unlimited on Plan 3.
Can my bot send messages to users who haven't interacted with it? No. Telegram policy requires bots to only message users who have started a chat with the bot.
Billing
Can I switch plans mid-cycle? Yes. Upgrades take effect immediately (prorated). Downgrades take effect at the next renewal date.
What payment methods do you accept? Credit/debit cards (Stripe), Apple Pay, Google Pay, and cryptocurrency (BTC, SOL, TRX, USDT-TRC20 via NOWPayments).
Do I get a refund if I cancel early? Subscription payments are refundable (prorated) within 7 days of payment. Wallet top-ups are refundable within 30 days (card) or 7 days (crypto).
What happens if my payment fails? The subscription enters past-due status. The platform retries payment every 24 hours for 5 days. Full access is maintained during this period. After 5 days, the subscription expires.
Can my wallet go negative? The wallet can go negative only on auto-renewals (subscription renewal charges that exceed the wallet balance). You must top up before the next billing cycle to bring the balance positive.
Do marketplace purchases come out of the wallet? Yes. Marketplace purchases are charged to your workspace wallet.
Limits
What is the warm-up period and why does it exist? Warm-up is a 14-day period during which a new account's send budget gradually increases. It exists to mimic natural account behavior and reduce the risk of Telegram flagging the account as automated.
Can I skip warm-up? No. Warm-up is enforced at the runtime level and cannot be bypassed.
What happens when I hit a rate limit? The platform returns HTTP 429 with a Retry-After header. Most rate limits are per-IP, and repeated violations may result in a temporary IP block.
Is there a limit on how many groups I can join per day? The platform does not set a hard limit, but Telegram may rate-limit group joins. The platform respects Telegram's rate limits and will pause group joins if flood-wait errors are received.
Security
How is my data encrypted? All data at rest is encrypted with AES-256. Keys are managed through KMS with quarterly rotation. Data in transit uses TLS 1.3.
Can I export my data? Yes. Go to Settings > Data > Export. The platform prepares a ZIP file with all your data within 24 hours.
What happens to my data if I delete my workspace? After a 24-hour soft-delete window, data is permanently purged within 30 days. Backups are rotated within 90 days.
Does the platform sell my data? No. The platform does not sell user data. Analytics data is used only for platform improvement and is never shared with third parties.
How do I report a security vulnerability? Email security@telegramos.com. We aim to acknowledge within 24 hours and provide a fix timeline within 7 days.

Can I have multiple workspaces? Yes. Each workspace has its own billing, accounts, and team. You can switch between workspaces from the workspace selector.
Does the platform support bulk operations? Yes. Bulk proxy import (100 per CSV), bulk account release, and bulk group leave are supported. Bulk account creation is not supported.
Data portability
Can I take my owned accounts to another platform? Yes. Owned accounts are your session files. You can download the session data and use it elsewhere. Rented accounts remain with the platform.
Can I migrate from another platform to Telegram OS? Not directly. You would need to upload your Telegram Desktop session ZIP files as owned accounts.
What format are session files in? Session files use the standard Telegram Desktop format (.tdata directory structure as a ZIP archive).
